Please Note: This is for people outside of the UK (only) Anyone based in the UK need the Appointed Person Course.

Do I need the CPR and AED Course..?

This course is a stand-alone CPR and AED Course that takes about 2.5 to 3 hours to complete. It encompasses one and two rescuer CPR and AED training for adults with the option to include CPR and AED use on infants and children.

The course is designed to meet regional and national compliance standards for workplace safety. Course materials support flexible delivery options, including the Emergency First Response Independent Study method, the video-guided approach and the Instructor-led technique.

The Emergency First Response Automated External Defibrillation (AED) Training Course builds on the skills learned in the Primary Care (CPR) course to teach the proper AED use. This life saving device can increase a patient's chance of survival from a cardiac arrest by fifty percent.

During this course you'll review the basic principles of Primary Care (CPR) and learn how to deploy and use an AED in an emergency situation.

A half day course providing a Certificate of Attendance. This course is designed to give your company first aider the knowledge and expertise to use this life saving piece of equipment. Its recommended that students should retrain every 3 months.

The CPR and AED Course Topics include:

  • Heart Conditions
  • Resuscitation
  • CPR protocols and techniques
  • Use of AED (Adult, Infants and Children)

What other Courses would be useful in my Workplace..?

Our Primary and Secondary Care Course covers the Primary Care skills of scene safety assessment, universal precautions - communicable disease protection including barrier use, primary assessment, rescue breathing, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), conscious and unconscious obstructed airway management, serious bleeding management, shock management and spinal injury management. Secondary Care skills include injury assessment, illness assessment, bandaging and splinting for dislocations and fractures.

We also offer a Stand-alone CPR and AED Course - proven to drastically increase the chances of patient survival compared to CPR alone for the treatment of cardiac arrest. As with all our courses, personal copies of materials (participant manual & DVD) are provided for participants to retain after the course.
